More Informed Packaging

Under new EU legislation from September 1st 2010 light bulb manufacturers are required to provide more information on the packaging of their products. One of the requirements is to make the light output (known and measured in lumens) more prominent and as such it must be shown in a text size twice that of the energy used (measured in watts).

The labelling requirement is the first step in informing you how to compare the light output of these different products whilst still explaining how much energy they use.
