The Student Lighting Designer for 2012 is....

Oliver Hrubiak from Nottingham Trent University with Frank

The Student Lighting Design Awards allows students to gain valuable knowledge about the lighting industry, whilst using their creative skills to develop new lighting products. With LEDs being embraced as the light source of choice.

Inspiring designs and any of the top three could have easily landed the top spot. Great to spend time with young people with a creative instinct on the one hand and a clear respect for materials and processes on the other. I am sure that they will go on to great things.”
Simon Terry, Judge and Innovation Director at Anglepoise Ltd
